This site is intended to share my photos and through that, to improve my photography skills. I called myself a crappy photographer because there are more bad shots than good ones. What you see here should be my better ones.
The other reason I shoot is because life whizzes past. Do you have any memorable event last month, last year? I shoot to create reminders for my family, friends & myself. Yes, contrary to popular belief, I do have friends.
I like camera gear but gear can sometimes get in the way. During the days of film, you are limited to ISO 100 to 400 (usually for a casual photographer & whatever film is loaded in your camera). You think about composition, focus, shutter speed & aperture.
Now, everything is automatic! If you can't get a nice shot, check the nut behind the camera. I sometimes do that too.
