Hitting The Track

Took this for a test drive today. Much better than my old running shoes. Nice.

I-City Shah Alam

Visited I-City Shah Alam just to get out of the house for a change. For me, I won't go back. It was just crappy LED everywhere. At least, I got the sunset over Klang below.

A Moment In Time

Frozen In Time
Marvelous things that we usually miss with our bare eyes unless frozen by the shutter of a camera.

Frugal Photography

Photography is a great hobby. However, if you think that better gear will make you a better photographer, you'll be broke pretty fast. I'm a frugal person that means I hate to waste money. That doesn't mean I don't spend money on quality gear, but it does mean I won't splurge to stuff that makes a slight improvement to my photography. If you can't see the light (pun not intended), i.e. the way light hits your subject, the greatest, best, whatever camera lens and giga pixels won't matter.

I came across this article while looking for a Circular Polarizer as well. This scientific testing proofs that price is not a indication of quality. Here's the article

If you are looking for a best Circular Polarizer (it is not a well known brand), you can find it here.

Hope you'll find the article useful if you are out buying filters. I'll get a few dollars if you buy from the link. If not, that's okay too. Happy shooting

Nice To See, No So Nice To Eat

This proofs that a photo is not always worth a thousand words. The photo looks great, taken in a mixed lighting without any set up. Even the kids at the function didn't want more after the first bite.

ISO: 400, Exposure: 1/8 sec, Aperture: 5.6, Focal Length: 40mm, Flash Used: No

Using my Lumix FZ28 with its great image stabilization taught me how to be extremely steady with my hands if I have to. By the way, the K100D have built in stabilization.
